An Evening at the Magnificent Art Deco style Central Pavilion of the Montreal Botanical Gardens

6 p.m. A guided tour of the Art Deco Central Pavilion of the Montreal Botanical Gardens with its octagonal and stepped-down fountains.
7 p.m. A presentation on Montreal make-work projects of the depression period, and an update on some of the projects Art Déco Montréal is looking at, such as, Eaton’s 9th Floor Restaurant and the Empress Theatre (Cinema V), plus a representative from the 7th World Congress on Art Deco, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa, will make a brief presentation in the authentic, luxurious 1930s auditorium.
8 p.m. A buffet reception with live jazz era music in the quintessentially Art Deco period foyer.
